It is impossible to avoid pressure and stress in modern life and today’s fast moving and rapidly changing workplace.

In 2015/16, work related stress accounted for 488,000 cases sickness absence which equated to 11.7 million days of lost productivity, costing UK businesses a staggering £45bn.

Thankfully, all business leaders are now addressing employee’s mental health as a key priority and much can be done to tackle the impact of work related stress by giving people the tools and confidence to build their mental resilience.

We define mental resilience as being a state of mind, an inner determination to succeed, to continue performing at your very best despite pressure or challenge. It is the ability to overcome and respond positively to adversity, change or disruption.

Our programmes are inspired by sport psychology and adapted for business. We think of every employee as an athlete who must harmonise their technical, mental and physical ability to deliver their very best under pressure.

DeltaV Resilience programmes are unique in that they measure and build resilience in individuals, leaders and teams.

Using the industry leading Resilience Quotient Inventory (RQi) psychometric tool, we are able to quantify and measure resilience for each individual and collectively as a team. From this detailed analysis, we are able to build bespoke training solutions that are delivered by world class resilience coaches who have personal experience of the impact of resilience in high performance businesses, professional sport and elite military units.

Our programmes use carefully selected modules from the DeltaV Individual and Team (‘Tribe”) Resilience Models which give people the practical tools and confidence to change their mindset and working practices to perform at the best under pressure.
